Chat Server - Introduction

Rainmail Chat Server allows users to communicate with other users in the Server in real time using

  1. Instant Messaging
  2. Conferencing.

Rainmail Administrator can enable chat facility to specific users. Once the facility is enabled, users need to download, install and configure the chat client included with Rainmail Server. Once configured, users can use the client to chat/send Instant messages/conference with other users of the system. In the following sections, we will look at detailed instructions on how users can download, install and use the chat client.
